astrology reading

I'd always thought it would be fun to sit for an astrology reading, but I'd never actually worked up the courage to do so before. I guess I was a bit afraid of what I might find out. I mean, what if it was bad news? What if I were destined to be a failure, would never meet my perfect match, and would live just a short, uneventful life? Those aren't exactly the kinds of things I wanted confirmed by a psychic! So I simply avoided them until recently, when I finally worked up enough courage to see what was written in the stars about me. Since I'd never had an astrology reading before, I didn't really know where to go to find a good psychic. Of course, I'd seen commercials and magazine ads for various 900-numbers that I could call in order to get an astrology reading, but I naturally couldn't find any of those numbers now that I was ready to use one. So I figured I'd go online instead and see what kind of information I could get from the Internet. First of ...

African American hair

Hair is a wonderful thing. Humans love this natural feature, whether they are male or female. This is why it's such a bummer if your follicles ever fall out, hence leaving you hairless up top. One thing I've noticed is how different races have different types of hair. This is great in my opinion. Diversity is what makes the world beautiful. Take African American hair for example. Although I never really though of it as different from my own as a child, I soon learned other wise. As my best friend from high school put it, "White folks have different hair than we do. We have to work to make ours soft." This was peculiar to me at the time, but of course isn't any more. I've actually come to notice differences in many races and their hair types and styles over the years.

The weave is very common with African American hair. This is a way to alter and add to the dew you already have. Maybe you want a different color weaved in or a longer style. It can all be done. One style I've always loved regarding African American hair is corn rows. It just doesn't work the same when other races do it. Now, for those of you who don't have a clue, African American hair is drier and coarser in general. Not to mention curlier. This is why black men may suffer a little more with razor bumps. No, it has nothing to do with your poor shaving habits. It's actually related more to the curly coarseness of your beard. Since the whiskers are so curly, they tend to turn back up under the skin easier, hence causing razor bumps. You may want to try an electric or clippers instead of a blade.

We should all appreciate and embrace the hair we're given. Work with what you have. Forget about everyone else. This is what my mother always told me. Whether you have Asian, Caucasian or African American hair doesn't matter. With the salon technology available now days, you can alter your hair style and color to any way, shape or form you please. If you do have African American hair, it is prudent to visit a stylist who's familiar with African American hair and styles. This will ensure better results.

animal books

Kids have all different tastes, but if there is anything that all kids like, it is animals. When you buy books about animals for your children, you are guaranteed to receive a smile in return. Although kids go through different phases in their reading, animal books are always one of the first things that they pick up on, and often become long-lasting favorites. When I was a kid, I loved any kind of animal story or animal book. Animal coloring books were my favorite, but I also loved fables, myths, and longer stories as well. Black Beauty was the very first novel that I fell in love with, and I have read it many times since then. My mom used to take us out to the bookstore. We would each get to pick out a book while we were there. My brother would take something about planes, or cars, or sports, but I would always go for the animal books right away. He made fun of me sometimes for it, calling me a girl for how much I liked animal books, but I didn't care. I knew that he was wrong a...

aerobic systems

Getting back into shape after being overweight for a long period of time or after giving birth to a child can be quite demanding and tedious. There is generally a long way to go at this point. If your main concern is excess fat, then your primary focus should be cardio and aerobic systems. It's often easier to wait one the weights. I say this only because once you begin weight training; you will start putting on pounds. Granted these are muscle pounds, which are great. But, tackling cardio exclusively in the beginning can be the most efficient route. Shed the extra fat and then proceed to the strength building. It's a process.  About a year ago, my wife finally decided to crack down and discard her extra body fat. She has given birth to three children; therefore it's only natural for her to have gained a few extra pounds. While she used to weigh around 110, she now weighs in at 128. At 5'4" this isn't that bad if you ask me. Her basic goal is to get back to 11...

About Yoga Yoga is a system of philosophy that originated in India 5000 years ago that is focused on the attainment of enlightenment and the liberation of one’s self from those burdens that can have negative effects on the mind, body, and spirit.
